Why North Skipton
Small enough to be known. Serious enough to stretch you.
Seminars stay small because the town does. You will not be anonymous in a lecture of four hundred, and you will not be cut off from a city. Leeds and Bradford are a short train ride. Manchester is a little further. The fells start at the edge of the campus.
Global Engagement looks after offers, visas, arrival and the first weeks. Academic departments look after the degree. You should not have to guess which inbox is which.

The library stays open after the town goes quiet.
Studios in Castle Quarter, a wet lab in Wharfedale, and a table you can keep until the building closes.
A semester away
Study abroad, without pretending you live here forever.
Partner students can take a semester or a year. Build a plan of up to 60 credits, then send it to your home adviser.

Confirm
A £3,500 deposit after an unconditional offer holds the place. Pay it by June and the Early Confirmation Grant can apply.

Visa and room
We issue the CAS when the checks are done. Rooms requested by 7 August are guaranteed for new international students.

Arrive
Land before enrolment week. International breakfast is the first Monday, in the chapel gallery, passport in your bag.

Money, plainly
Tuition is on the course. Living is in this range.
A full-time campus year for an international student sits between £15,800 and £18,900. The Global Award takes £3,000 off that when you hold an offer. Stacked awards stop at £7,000.
A university room is £132 to £214 a week, bills included. Cooking most meals in Skipton, most students spend about £9,200 to £11,400 on rent and living across the year.
Questions we are asked every week
Do I need an agent?
No. Apply on this site. An agent is allowed, and they do not change the fee or the scholarship rules.
Can I start in January?
MSc Data Analytics, the MBA and the online marketing masters still take a January 2027 start. Most bachelor degrees are September only.
What if my English is half a band short?
We can make the academic offer conditional, then point you to a 6-week or 10-week pre-sessional before September.
Is a room really guaranteed?
For a full-time campus course, yes, if the accommodation request is complete by 7 August 2027. A one-term exchange is not covered by that guarantee.
